The DCI Lausanne operates its electron microscopes in a newly constructed Annex to the Genopode building on the UNIL campus, directly at the border to the EPFL campus. The upper floor of the facility houses a large office with space for workshops, discussions, instrument remote control, and data processing. The lower floor of the facility offers space for 6 electron microscopy. Environmental conditions for these high-end instruments are outstanding in that location.
